A DIGLOO is an easy to assemble kitset
Geodesic Greenhouse.
The unique shape gives incredible strength and stability, they are virtually impossible to blow over.
At almost 10 sq metres footprint, and over 2 metres high, they are extremely roomy and cost less than half of a ' normal ' greenhouse of equivalent area.
DIGLOOS are entirely made in New Zealand : they are not only a very efficient growing room all year round, these cuties add a wonderful feature to the garden...

Geodesics gives maximum strength for minimum material. Any load applied to it is spread throughout the whole frame. The spherical shape allows the wind to just flow over them - even in the strongest wind, Digloos just sit there. And because the individual triangles are quite small, the plastic sheeting remains taut.
The frames are made from treated Pine, the Double Hubs ( 1 inside, 1 outside ) from Aluminium, and will last almost indefinitely. We use the Redpath Greenhouse Film and joining tape for the cover, guaranteed by Redpath for 5 years, but often lasting well beyond that.
We can supply an extra Greenhouse film covering which you can attach to the inside, giving extra warmth with effective double glazing.

The kitsets can be assembled pretty much anywhere, and the whole thing can be picked up up moved, if you want, as you can see in the photos of us carrying one, and loading one onto a truck.They're very easy and fun to assemble, everything is pre-cut and provided, so no measuring or drilling holes required.
5 independant vents at the top channel air into the Digloo as required, leave the fully retractable door open for maximum air movement.
Digloo is supplied as a kitset. You will need some basic tools, a screwdriver, a hammer, and a pair of scissors, though if you have a battery screwdriver, that would be a great time ( and wrist !!! ) saver. After all, there are more than 400 bolts and screws to tighten !! The hubs are bolted to the struts, and so are virtually indestructible. Everything is included :- hubs & struts, nuts & bolts, screws, staples, vents and the door, you don't have to bore holes or cut the plastic covering, just the joining tape. Digloos aren't difficult to assemble, as long as you follow the instructions !! It is strongly recommended that 2 people put them together. It can be difficult to hold struts in exactly the right place and put bolts through the holes at the same time.
